Happy Monday, friends!

I swear, I’m going to get it together and get these back to their normally scheduled day of SATURDAY.

The end of my weeks’ lately have been overflowing and this gets pushed to be tackled during the weekends and well … we all know how that goes with little ones. I actually had a bit of time yesterday but, I used it to plan some things out for … Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

It is always one of my favorite sales on the retail calendar and, considering we are leaving next week for England, I needed to figure out how [and how much] I’ll be covering it this year. Sadly, there will be no in-store try-on’s but, there will be no shortage of coverage. A few details will be in today’s newsletter & then I’ll have a more detailed post go up tomorrow outlining things more thoroughly.

This weekend was a mix of fun, prepping, and planning. I started getting ahead of a few work things so I’m not trying to do them while we’re traveling with the boys and catching up with family. We had friends over for the England game and today I started creating rough packing piles. I think I’ll be getting the suitcases out tomorrow. I finished 11.22.63 on Netflix and oh my gosh …. wow. I have such a love / hate relationship with the ending, ugh! I don’t want to spoil anything but wow, my feelings are still swirling and I’m trying to land on how I ultimately feel about it.

These big, round sunnies were the most clicked on item I’ve shared in the last month. You guys were definitely intrigued! I’m obsessed.

Alright, here’s what I’ve got for you in today’s newsletter:

+ Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Details
+ Your Favorites From Prime Day
+ New Arrivals at Nordstrom I’m Eyeing
+ Card Organizing Tips
+ and more

And, here are the posts I’m working on sharing with you here on Substack:

+ Key Details To Note Regarding the 2026 Nordstrom Sale: Key dates, my best tips, and how to build your Wishlist before Early Access begins.
+ What I’m Packing For Our Trip To The UK: A peek inside my suitcase with everything I'm packing for London and our countryside escapes in Cornwall & Somerset.

Hello from the 2019 Anniversary Sale.

If you’ve never shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale before, here’s the quick version: new fall arrivals are released at sale prices for a limited time before returning to full price once the event ends.

Cardmembers get to shop a few days before public access, but everyone can preview the sale beginning July 6. That’s the perfect time to browse, save your favorites to a wishlist, and make a game plan before your shopping window opens.

EARLY ACCESS WINDOWS

  • Icon cardmembers: July 14

  • Ambassador cardmembers: July 15

  • Influencer cardmembers: July 16

  • Public access: July 18

Prime Day is just as revered by many as the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so, I hope you all were able to get some of the items you have been eyeing at a much better price this past week. I shared THIS POST outlining the most used products I’ve bought from Amazon and you guys loved a lot of the items.

Here’s what you bought the most out of my recommendations —

I’m incredibly picky about travel chargers.

But, after traveling for years, I learned quickly which brand has the best ones: Anker. They are quick to adapt their latest model in however our phones are shifting and changing. This MagSafe charger is lightweight, slim, powerful, and takes up almost no room in a handbag or carry-on.

It’s one of those items you don’t fully appreciate until you’re traveling and your battery hits 12%.

I'm someone who still believes some memories deserve to live beyond a camera roll, but I've never been much of a photo album person. I love this photo storage system. So, I love that this is a simple, aesthetically pleasing way to organize printed photographs, keepsakes, holiday memories, and family milestones. The neutral linen exterior looks beautiful on a bookshelf or inside a cabinet, while keeping everything protected and easy to find.

This gingham set is also included in Amazon Prime Day — and one of the only Amazon Fashion finds that has really impressed me lately.

This pearlescent necklace continues to be a chart topper for you ladies. Comes in so many fun color-ways to make it completely customizable to your aesthetic, great for layering and not too over the top.

This is essentially a filing cabinet disguised as home decor, and it's one of my favorite organization finds. I use mine to store everything from travel documents and tax paperwork to warranties and business records, and the linen exterior makes it feel much more elevated than a traditional file box. It's one of those purchases that makes staying organized so much easier, and it's just

There’s no ignoring that Anniversary Sale season is upon us, but these new arrivals were too good not to share. They're pieces I'd happily wear now, pack for the rest of summer, and still be styling once September rolls around. If you're adding a few things to your closet before the sale begins, I'd start here.

  • This top instantly caught my eye. The denim gives it a little structure while the boxy fit keeps it effortless. I'd wear it with white denim now and chocolate or olive once we start easing into fall.

  • One accessory, endless ways to wear it. Tie it in your hair, around your neck, on your bag, or even around a ponytail and it adds a little something to even the simplest outfit.

  • If you have a wedding, baby shower, bridal brunch, or vacation on the calendar, this dress deserves a look. It's feminine, the print is beautiful, and it's a piece you'll be excited to wear.

  • A white skirt is always in rotation this time of year, but I especially love the shape and color of this one. Add a simple tank and sandals now, then switch to a cardigan when the mornings start cooling off.

Over the weekend, I asked y’all what you do about cards. Do you keep them? Toss them? Keep only the ones with meaningful messages?

I recently opened a small box my mom had stored away of all of the cards her loved ones gave her when she was pregnant with me. It was so heartwarming and sweet to see how loved she was and how excited everyone was for her to have me. Throughout my childhood, I don’t remember my mom having a lot of girlfriends so, I loved seeing that she did have strong connections but, maybe it got too hard to keep up with them while we were growing up. On the other hand, there’s a part of me that doesn’t know who all of those people are so, I loved looking through them but, I’m torn on whether to continue to keep them and whether to keep holding on to cards that I’ve held on to that celebrate boys’ different milestones. So, I asked you what you do and here’s what you shared — in case you need help deciding what to do:

I loved the variety of suggestions I received because it just shows there’s no right way to do it — there’s only the way that makes sense for you. I’m likely going to do the Ziplock method for cards during milestone years and store them — eventually — in their Petite Keep boxes. This is actually what I’m asking for for Christmas from either John or my parents.
