Here’s an example: “Ik woon voor drie jaar in Nederland.” (I’ve been living in the Netherlands for three years) I’ve heard my NT2 students say this many times, and I correct them over and over again. Insert the example regularly in De Foutjes, too.
Still, preposition errors like that are amongst the most persistent.
