Sunshower (n.) a shower of rain that falls in the sunlight.

AN ANGEL’S TEAR FELL FROM THE STARS,
Through rolling clouds unfurling.
It passed through bolts of lightning shafts
And through a gray-dark whirling.

Then ashen turned to misty green
As through sky-breath and sighing,
The silver pearl drop streaking down
Approached green earth fast-flying.

The ghost-gales whirled the silver tear
In whispered song and laughing
Across a wing of pearl-white dove
That gleamed in white light flashing.

Then angelsong flowed through the sky,
Which with gold light now brimming,
Turned silver tears to amber bright—
As bright as world’s beginning.

And that one tear through leaf and branch
And green gold-gilt with dew
Fell on your cheek in shattered gold—
From Heaven’s eye to you.
