Last week I traveled to Virginia to pick up our oldest son from his time in Army training (called AIT). He’s now a fully trained Army National Guardsman. I am so proud of him and I hope he has a successful (and uneventful) stint with the Guard.
This week my husband is in Tennessee helping our daughter move out of her freshman dorm and then she will be home for several weeks before heading to her happy place - Girl Scout camp! She will be doing her second year as a residential camp counselor.
It will be so amazing having all four of my kids home this summer. We haven’t all been home since Christmas and that was still sparse.
Do you have kids in college or grown-n-flown? How often do they come home?
If you are in the Southeastern US, you are in luck! There will be two opportunities to see me next month.
First is Front Paige Media’s Book Fair at New Realm Brewing in Greenville. The event runs 10am-5pm on Saturday June 6th.
Second is Books in Charleston at the Drury Plaza Hotel in North Charleston on June 20th. VIP admission is at 11am, with general admission running from 12-4pm.
Which of my books brought you here? Which has been your favorite? Is there one you’re looking forward to reading next?

Have a wonderful week!
