I grew up with Greek Orthodox grandparents, so we didn’t say “He is Risen” in our house. We said, “Christos Anesti!” Which was followed by, “Alithos Anesti!” (He is Risen Indeed) Same meaning, much more fun to say.

Regardless, Christ is indeed risen and I am so thankful to be saved by His grace!

In Greek tradition, eggs are dyed bright red as a symbol of Christ’s innocent blood spilled for us. It’s a beautiful tradition and one I enjoy sharing with my kids and extended family.

I am so grateful for everyone who has shared about the launch of Chosen! The reviews are wonderful and the ratings are showing that.

But more importantly — lives are being impacted and that’s what it’s all about. I’ve gotten reviews saying Chosen has opened people’s hearts to the idea of speaking up when it’s important and that’s what it’s all about! I hope Esme’s story has encouraged everyone to use their voice to make a positive impact on the world.
