On The Wings for Writers: An ACI Community Spotlight

I’ve been a longtime member of the OTW group and have truly enjoyed connecting with so many talented writers here. It’s where I found my blurb writer, critique partners, and some wonderful friends. I hope you enjoy the interview below!

What inspired you to create this community?

Initially, I wanted to establish a community centered around my novels. Then it became a writing group as I met more authors. This isn’t the first community I’ve formed. I love to create safe, encouraging, and uplifting communities.

What does this community offer?

A safe, supportive, and empowering home for the writing community, especially LGBTQ+, authors of color, and independent authors.

You’re a writer also — tell us a bit about yourself.

I write romantic suspense as S. A. Crow and urban fantasy noir mystery as Ann Crow. I’m also a writing coach and offer writing workshops. I live in North Texas with my partner and two crazy puppies A. J. and Destiny.

Where can we find your works?

I developed and wrote the Bookend Revision Technique

My Romance series is called The Fire Series and I recently released my first boxset, Burning Desires. It contains the first 3 novels and 3 novella’s.

My Urban fantasy noir mystery series is called P.I.R. series. I’m releasing serial fiction stories on Medium to introduce readers to the world before the first complete novel Obsidian Vendetta is released. I’ve completed Hematite without Faith and am currently releasing Amber and Ashes which I co-write with my partner, and False Emerald.

Wins and Plans session on the 4th Friday, every month at 3pm EST.

How has this group impacted you personally as a writer?

I continue to learn so much from the members about writing, the business, and life. It gives me a way to lift people up and laugh with people who not only get the business problems but also my crazy sense of humor and outlook on life.
