I did indeed manage to draw a few cartoons to submit to The New Yorker (they’re not very “New Yorkery”, but they’ll have to do). I have until Thursday, so there’s time to draw more. It’s surprisingly difficult.
I’m also working on a graphic personal essay - which is like a written opinion piece, but with pictures. It’s on a topic that affected me recently, and I thought it deserved more consideration than a 4-panel diary comic. So, I’m looking forward to publishing it next week.
