As I was writing this I suddenly remembered the last time I told this story was when I wrote about My Dinner With Adam Carolla. I remembered pushing publish from the hospital room where my mom was dying. In the year since, I’ve struggled to return to this story. I have touched on my experience on The Adam Carolla Show here and there but not in the detailed way I had been. Now, a year later, I’m finding it easy and enjoyable to write about it again, which is weird! Anyway, I think I’m back!
