Let's Talk About My First Live Adam Carolla Show!

My first live Adam Carolla show was a heady affair. When I began the gig as newsgirl I don’t know that we would be doing live shows. I was aware there had been a live show at the Playboy Mansion, a place I’ve been quarce times myself which is a story for another day, but I thought of that as an anomaly. An offshoot of the radio show.

Wait, you are likely thinking, did this bitch just say quarce? Is that even a word?

Yes I fucking did and no it’s fucking not unfortunately. My friend and I, neither of whom were having sex in high school, decided years ago that in the same way there was once twice and thrice, there needed to be quarce, quince and on you go. I can’t remember what six, seven or eight were but nine times is nunce. Or maybe nonce. I think I actually wrote a blog post about it in the blogging days. Hold please.

Omg I found it and weirdly in the post I talk about going to the Playboy Mansion! Is this the only thing I talk about? And did I only go thrice? So many questions! Anyway, here these are.

I just clicked on all the links in the post to make sure I didn’t casually say anything cancellable now and none of the links work because the OC Weekly for whom I wrote about my Playboy Mansion adventures is defunct. Awesome.

So anyway, there I was, driving two hours every evening from Orange County to Glendale/Burbank to record The Adam Carolla Show and then home in 55 minutes because that’s how traffic works.
