We’ve done the math: unless a book achieves significant volume (10k units), authors—especially debut authors—almost always come up short, both economically and culturally. This live-event series is our attempt to change that equation by building an ecosystem in which the author, bookseller, publisher, and partners work together to create not only a better reader experience, but a richer book-club and community experience—one capable of giving new voices genuine cultural visibility and socioeconomic power. We are deeply grateful to every partner, and to our author, for enabling us to see what becomes possible when we stop waiting for traditional pathways to make room.
