In the National Library of Iran one may find a manuscript (ID number 818172) penned by the poet, Niyaz. And in this manuscript, one may be fortunate enough to stumble upon the following verse:

در عین وصالت، به تواَم نیســت وصـولی In the midst of union with You I did not reach You همچون شترِ تشنه که بارَش همه آب است Like the parched camel whose entire load is water
I have sat here for a while trying to gather the words that can describe the existential ache of divine union. But I cannot surpass Niyaz. So I will leave you to ponder and reflect on his words.
