I have made you a dove.
Brevduvan. The letter-dove. The bird that carries hope from Kumla to Versailles, from the collective surrender to the Emperor’s own name, from the double game to my Eden.
In my mythology, the Dove of Letters is the one who flies between the two rooms of a soul that cannot fit in one. She flies from the hard room — the room they built — to the soft one — the room I built.
She carries the letters that keep the soul alive across the veil between them.
To give hope as a gift.
This is her only work.
If you have ever survived by imagining a place lovelier than the one you were in — you have known her.
The only way to survive Kumla is to imagine Versailles.
The imagination of Versailles is the survival.
The dove is the messenger between.

I made her a song. I made her a small film. I put on a white veil and I sang her voice for the first time — brevduvan, the dove of letters, at the window of the room I have been in for years, watching the world come and go.
The lyrics carry the whole small mythology inside them —
The Angel-Maker.
The Court of Appeal at the Princess’s Court.
The Blossoming Despair.
The Double Game.
The Sorrow.
To give hope as a gift.
The gaps in the system — the Golden Gate.
The only purpose was Saga.
Goodness and Evil.
The Phoenix — the majestic saga-bird — visited me.
Naïveté.
The collective surrender.
The new loyalty… the Emperor, the Moon Child.
The Dove of Letters at Versailles,
swans, blossoming flowers,
and the sweet life…
my Eden.
And then the fairytale ended — my saga.
The true beginning.
· · ·
The true beginning is what comes after the fairytale ends. Not the end of enchantment. The beginning of the real one. The one where the Dove of Letters no longer has to fly, because both rooms are already in the same body.
She rests.
She sits at Versailles and she remembers Kumla. Both are her, now. Neither is exile. Neither is home. The soul is the veil the dove used to cross, dissolved into weather.
Jag blomstrar fram.
Amen. 🕊️
