Giving you a poetry + micro fiction drop this time. Will you get a drop like this again? Maybe. Yesterday, I fell asleep while writing the poem…at 8pm (yuckkkk). When I woke up at 1am and wide awake (more yuckkkk), I took advantage of the time and wrote for three hours. I don’t typically do that because I LOVE SLEEP but I was determined to get it done.

Writing safe :voice in tandem wasn’t the plan but I like how it happened anyway, as if they belong together. Both of them present warnings of resting on illogical beliefs, insecurities or other mental disturbances and how they could potentially keep us bound + quiet. Are you safe with yourself? Have you been keeping your voice small?
