Small groups for women, femmes, and thems to track patterns and change how you show up — with or without men in your life.

There’s something I’ve been doing my whole life that I didn’t have language for until much later.

When I was a kid, my dad and I would go out into the woods and track animals. We’d move slowly, paying attention to the smallest signs. A shift in the brush. A print in the dirt. A sound most people would miss. We’d follow what was there until something revealed itself. At the time, it just felt like something we did together. I didn’t realize I was learning how to track.

Years later, that same way of paying attention turned inward. When I began working with somatics, I learned how to follow sensation in the body the same way we followed tracks in the woods. Not the story about what was happening. The actual moment something shifts. The tightening, the pull, the impulse to move away, to smooth, to organize around someone else. Most people miss that moment because the mind rushes in to explain it. My work is to slow that down and stay with what’s happening long enough for something else to emerge.

I’ve been practicing this for over a decade, first with myself and then with clients. It’s the core of how I work. Not fixing, not managing, not trying to get somewhere else. Tracking what’s here and working with it in real time. When people learn how to do this, their lives change. Not because they forced themselves to, but because the way they’re organized starts to shift.

Everything I write comes from this. The layers, the way I move through a moment, the way I stay with something longer than expected. I’m teaching you how to track while I’m doing it. And now I want to open that up into a space where we can practice it together.

I’m exploring the possibility of running ongoing closed groups for women, femmes, and thems who have been impacted by misogyny and want to shift how these patterns live in their bodies and relationships.

These would be small groups (max 6 people), focused on process and practice.

Each session would center real experiences from your life. We’d slow things down in real time, track what’s happening in your body, and work directly with the moment patterns show up. I would actively guide and interrupt to support you in noticing where you leave yourself, smooth, over-attune, or organize around someone else.

The intention is to build your capacity to stay with yourself in moments that usually pull you out of your center.

A lot of this work can feel isolating when done alone. This space would offer the chance to practice inside a relational field, with others witnessing and working alongside you.

I’m considering two different group focuses:

Option 1: Decentering Men — Working with Internal Patterns

This group is for those who are actively decentering men, and currently not romantically or sexually involved with men.

We would explore:

  • how attention still orients toward men internally

  • fantasy, rumination, and imagined dynamics

  • the pull to be chosen or seen

  • how your body organizes around an internalized gaze

Option 2: Relational Repatterning — Changing Dynamics in Real Time

This group is for those currently in relationships with men who want to shift how they show up.

We would explore:

  • the impulse to appease, manage, or absorb

  • what happens when you stop doing that

  • working with guilt, fear, and relational tension

  • staying in your body while dynamics shift

I put together a short survey to help shape this.

My intention is to create small, weekly groups, held on Zoom, where we practice tracking patterns in real time using what’s happening in your life.

Below are a few questions to get a sense of what you’re drawn to.

I’ll leave this up through May 1 and share next steps shortly after.

I appreciate you taking the time to share this. It gives me a clearer sense of what’s needed.

In practice,
