Hello Dear Reader,

I’m breaking from the usual format of my newsletter to simply wish you and your loved ones a very merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

I’m so grateful that over this last year you’ve chosen to give me some of your time and attention in reading or replying to the odd scrawls I post here and on my website. I’m also extremely grateful to those kind souls who’ve bought me the occasional coffee or become a paid subscriber. Just knowing that somebody enjoys or values what I put out is such a special feeling. So thank you internet friends.

I’m keeping this brief and simple. You’ve all got much better things to be doing than reading emails on Christmas Eve, or the days following. But I wanted to say that I hope the meaning of Christmas, that of hope, peace, reconciliation, goodwill towards men and women meets you in your home and heart.

Whether you are a person of Christian faith, other faith or none, I wish you every blessing.
