Kidlit for Los Angeles isn’t taking money directly. Instead, if you’re the winning bidder of an auction item, you will have until February 9th at midnight ET/9pm PT to upload a screenshot of proof of donation to one of the following charities:

The Kidlit For Los Angeles team will then review the receipts and connect winners with the donors of their items within 30 days. If receipts/proof of donations are not provided by the end of the day on February 9th, items will go to the next highest bidder.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know that charity auctions like this are about the only way to get me to do virtual events with individual schools anymore. (I’m still doing one big, free virtual visit per month during the school year that anyone can attend, of course—my next free, live virtual event is Thursday, February 13th.) If you’ve been hoping to get me one-on-one with your audience though, now’s your chance!
