Before we begin, I have a small update

Longer posts will never cut-off by your email app. The Substack app is currently available for iOS. If you don’t have an Apple device, you can join the Android waitlist here 👈 .
With that in mind, Let’s Begin.
The thing that I am going to talk about today is something I learnt the Past week and would like to share.
So, Imagine, I give you an Egg. You are asked to talk about it for at least 3 mins. (anything and everything related to egg you can speak about).
Take a 30 second pause and think about it…
Assuming you’ve given your thought to it. Try explaining it to some random imaginary person or explain it to yourself.(VISUALIZE)
How long were you able to explain? 20secs? 30secs? 45 secs? 1min? 2mins?
Now, try this way. Explain the situation using Past, Present and Future. Then, try elaborating on the topic of ‘Egg’ with every possible point you can imagine.
How did it turn out this time? Did you notice any change from the previous explanation of yours?
The point I am trying to make is, Our brain is optimised to Create Structures Naturally, we understand Flowcharts better than Words and Paragraphs like this🤡.
The only difference, from the first situation to the second was that, in the latter segment I introduced you to structures (Past, Present and Future). Structure is what made all the difference. Structure is a way by which we can work on/elaborate anything, anytime and anywhere.
Choose any topic of your liking and try to implement this structure.
This works 70% of the time. The other way of presenting something is by showing the Problem, Solution and Advantages.
Problem, Solution and Advantages mostly makes sense if you are pitching an idea to someone. But that is a topic for another day.
NOTE: Exceptions do exist.
MY CONCLUSION: Either you found this explanation SENSIBLE or it absolutely made NO SENSE. I apologise if it didn't. Your honest opinion would mean the world to me.
bye
