The other day I was talking with a colleague about research workflows.
He said his process before AI looked completely different from what he does now.
But it feels meassy to him.
Things are changing too fast to keep up
I get it.
One week everyone is using ChatGPT.
Then Gemini drops something new and the whole conversation shifts again….
The Claude comes.
It changes so fast.
For what it is worth, Gemini deep research is excellent for broad sector analysis and building your own research base from custom data.
Claude is currently the most accurate and comprehensive engine for structured company research.
Both have a place.
They just do different things well.
I actually tested all the major AI tools on earnings data extraction if you want to see how they stack up in practice.
My advice to my colleague was simple.
Find someone who tracks this stuff daily and follow them.
Does not have to be me.
Just someone who is actually in the tools every day, not writing about them from the outside.
It usually starts with a rumour from a fellow investor or a news headline.
