They're all about responsible AI development and making sure those "frontier AI" models are safe and sound!
They wanna create a public library of solutions to boost AI safety research and keep potential risks in check. Smart move, right?
And they're all open to new organizations joining in if they're into frontier AI and serious about safety.
Kent Walker from Google & Alphabet is pumped about this collab! They'll have an Advisory Board with diverse peeps to steer the ship.
Plus, they're sorting out the important stuff like governance and funding.
The Frontier Model Forum's got big plans!
They wanna share knowledge and best practices with everyone – industry folks, governments, academics!
And they're on the hunt for crucial AI safety questions that need answers.
But that's not all! They're all about sharing info between companies and governments, working together for responsible AI tech! So exciting!
Looks like these tech giants are stepping up to make AI safer and more awesome for all of us!
There's this rad new thermal imaging system called HADAR that's changing the game for night visions using AI!
It's like heat vision, but way cooler!
So, normally, thermal imaging is all blurry and meh because of physics stuff.
But these brainiacs at Purdue and Michigan State used AI magic to solve the prob!
They trained the AI to see through the blur and detect all the deets about objects and their surroundings.
HADAR cuts through the fog, smoke, and darkness like a boss! It can show you the temp, material, and even thermal radiation patterns!
And get this – it creates super detailed images 24/7, no matter the lighting or environment.
This tech is a game-changer for self-driving cars, robots, and even security screenings! But hold up, it's not perfect yet.
HADAR is still pricey, needs real-time tuning, and has some hurdles to overcome. But the scientists are stoked and think it'll get even better soon!
Oh, and the best part? The dude who helped create it admits he's afraid of the dark! But with HADAR, he's like, "No worries, I can see everything!" So cool!

So, like, 36% of peeps think AI could be a big threat to humanity!
But hold up, not all the AI developers agree! They say AI ain't that smart yet, and it's gonna be decades before they're as smart as us!
The survey had over 2,000 responses, and get this – 60% of folks think robots and AI could take our jobs!
But wait, almost half of them think these bots would be great at doing chores for the elderly.
Also, 46% said no to robots having personalities – they don't want robot drama, I guess!
And surprise, surprise – dudes are more likely to befriend robots than girls!
But hey, the younger peeps, like 18 to 24-year-olds, are cool with robots! Over half of them think bots would make awesome servants!
Some experts are worried about AI taking over, like Elon Musk and Stephen Hawking.
But there are others who think it's not that serious, like Bill Gates and Jürgen Schmidhuber.
Anyways, AI is on the rise, and peeps have different opinions about it.
Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, is launching a new crypto called Worldcoin on Monday!
It's all about using AI to solve some major probs – online identity and income inequality!
So, they're using AI to make sure each person gets just one Worldcoin ID by scanning their irises with this crazy device called "The Orb."
Iris scans to the rescue! But hold up, it's getting mixed reactions 'cause of privacy concerns and stuff.
But here's the deal – if this coin's value goes up, it could be a massive jackpot for Altman and other investors!
And get this, they wanna use the IDs to spot real peeps from bots and fight fraud, especially if governments wanna give out "universal basic income" to folks.
But there's a twist – Worldcoin won't be given to people in the U.S. 'cause of regulatory stuff. Bummer!
But maybe the co-founders and investors can get some outside the States?
