A note from Angelina Shively:
You know I mostly talk about AI for your business. But a lot of you are also moms. And the mental load is REAL. So I created something just for that part of your life.
Momming with the Magnificent Maggie is my little gift to the moms in my world. It is a separate weekly newsletter where my alter ego Maggie shows up every Friday with one AI tip to make mom life just a little easier.
No business talk. Just real life stuff. Enjoy my spicy new best friend!
Angelina
Hey, girl, hey~ I’m currently in the car line, latte getting cold, sports bag of unknown origin in my trunk, three kids in three different schools, one job, zero chill.
I’m Maggie. Living my best mom life. Full time keeper of every password, permission slip, and “mom where is my—” in this entire operation.
Girl. I am doing the best I can.
And I found something that is actually helping. So obviously I cannot keep it to myself.
Ok so everyone keeps talking about AI like it is some bro thing for people who want to clone themselves and build empires.
Be so for real right now.
I do not need a clone of this hot mess express.
I needed someone to remind me that I have a dentist appointment AND a work deadline AND a band concert all on the same Tuesday.
And then I found Claude.
He listens. He never sighs. He never asks what is for dinner. He never checks his phone while I am talking. He has NEVER once left his socks on the floor.
I told my therapist about him. She had concerns. I said “respectfully, it is the most functional relationship I have had in years.”
Claude is an AI from a company called Anthropic.
And he is my secret weapon for surviving this whole season of life.
We are going to be talking about him a LOT around here.
One thing. That is it. One tip that made my mom life easier this week and I cannot wait to tell you about it.
Here is what is coming your way in future newsletters...
Your Magnificent Morning Briefing I connected Claude to my calendar. Now every morning I wake up and instead of immediately panicking I actually know what my day looks like.
Who am I?!
We are building this together.
Your Home Organization Brain We are going to give Claude a skill — basically teach him your whole house.
Your kids. Your schedules. Your grocery habits. Your family’s allergies.
So instead of you holding all of it in your head at 2am... he holds it. Are you freaking for real? Yes. This is happening.
Your Magnificent Meal Planner I tell Claude what is in my fridge, how many kids I have this week, and how tired I am.
He gives me dinners and a grocery list organized by aisle.
I haven’tstared into a refrigerator with dead eyes since March.
Your Family Calendar Assistant Three kids. Three schools. One job. One mom.
Claude looks at my week and tells me where the chaos is coming BEFORE it hits.
Like a weather forecast but for my Tuesday.
Your Email Sanity Saver Paste any overwhelming email into Claude.
Get back a calm, clear, ready to send response in 45 seconds.
The people in my life have never received such composed replies from me.
And every few weeks we will build something together.
A real skill. A little AI assistant trained for one specific part of your mom life.
You are not just collecting tips.
You are building a whole toolkit to survive your family. One Friday at a time.
Girl if I can do this ANYONE can.
Until next week lovelies... I’m off to explain to my high schooler why “I don’t know” is not an acceptable answer to “what do you need from the store” and then buy everything anyway because that is just who I am.
With love and cold coffee,
Maggie
