Dear Educators,

Dear Educators,

In today's fast-paced world, the impact of our work extends far beyond our immediate surroundings. With the power of technology and social media, we have the incredible opportunity to share our achievements and insights with a global audience.

Gone are the days when we could simply rely on our work to speak for itself. Instead, we must actively engage in showcasing our efforts to ensure they reach individuals from all walks of life.

Consider the recent success of Project MEND, which empowered women in low-income communities with vocational skills and sewing machines. Thanks to our commitment to always document and put our work out there, we received funding from supporters across the globe, including someone from the United States.

Imagine if we had chosen to remain silent or wait for our work to speak for itself. The impact would have been limited, and the lives of those women may not have been transformed as they were.

As educators, we possess invaluable knowledge, experiences, and innovations that deserve to be shared. By embracing social media and online platforms, we can amplify our voices, connect with like-minded individuals, and inspire positive change on a global scale.

Let's not wait for our work to speak for itself. Let's speak out, share our stories, and make a difference together.

Best regards,

Agnes Onyekwere-Disu
