One of the most unexpected gifts of getting older is clarity.
I can’t say it came all at once, but slowly, steadily, like the tide. I know what I want now.
What fills my cup.
What I crave more of, and what I am ready to leave behind.
I am far different than the woman at 30 just having kids. Or even the woman at 40, moving to a big new city, and trying to make a new life for herself.
At 48, the noise has gotten quieter, and my priorities are much sharper.
These are things I know, without question, I will never regret:
