If I hear one more person call Gen Z snowflakes, I’m going to lose it. Especially since I was one of the people who did that. Well I was wrong. And I apologize.
There’s a whole conversation happening right now about Gen Z. They’re soft, they don’t want to work, they can’t handle pressure, they’re glued to their phones and allergic to effort.
They’re not tough like us millennials. Right?
Sure, if you squint hard enough and ignore everything happening around them, it really does look like laziness. It looks like a generation that gave up before it even started.
But here’s what’s actually going on: Gen Z isn’t lazy. They’re scared. And worse, they’re scared for good reason. Major things are happening that previous generations didn’t have to deal with. Things that make complete sense to be scared of.
