The story so far: C.A.R.D.S. has finally assembled: Ace Rocket, Rae Misere, Ruff Shuffle, Jackie LaHire, and Mouse the Joker. It all started when mercenary Rae tried to steal a briefcase from government agent Ace. Neither of them realized that both their bosses were in on a doomsday plot with the mysterious villain Dr. En V. Greeneye, who has the power to kill anyone with just a look — and plans to harness this power to launch a missile that will kill a majority of the world’s population. Having recovered the briefcase and aired a recording exposing Greeneye’s plans, causing alarm to the newly aware public, the five C.A.R.D.S. anticipate a retaliatory attack…
