It’s rare to encounter someone so deeply embedded in New York’s underground music scene for decades whom I haven’t met before. Marco Gomez aka Junior M formerly known as False Witness is one such anomaly. Junior M (short for Machine) was raised in Boston of Guatemalan descent and has returned to New York after some time in Berlin.

We recorded our podcast episode after we’d had both just attended the Zero Chill Halloween Party, where he later performed on New Year's Eve (set linked below).

Junior M’s unique perspective is shaped by years of experience in the underground, global politics, and his path to understanding and embracing neurodiversity. Through his work, he challenges norms and redefines his creative expression, making his voice a vital in the evolution of underground culture.
