Figure 1 shows seaborne crude oil exports (supply) from North and South America by country of origin. It reveals a major decline in recent weeks, with volumes falling below pre-crisis levels. Since the peak at the end of April, seaborne exports from these countries have dropped by 5.75 mb/d. Exports declined across all producers in the region: US seaborne exports fell by 2.2 mb/d, while Brazilian exports declined by 1.45 mb/d. Even Guyana and Venezuela recorded lower exports.
