Hello !
I’m happy to announce that KOLYDER’s ninth long-form record will be released on October 3rd, 2025.
“Those bridges you can only cross on your own” is composed of 5 solo improvisations that blends the melodic aspect of post-rock and the textural depth of ambient & shoegaze.
5 stages of an inner road movie that takes the listener on a path that exists on an ever-shifting threshold between an organic reality & a digital dream.
It's a big deal for me to finally be able to share a new record after 2 years with no official release.
Another reason this is a big deal is I didn't want to rely on major social media to promote it (for all the reasons you should be familiar with if you've read this newsletter in the past two years).
No more devaluating my art by turning it into “content” to please ever-changing algorithms, no more participating into the constant hi-jacking of our attention, no more screaming into the void to attract random people on platforms that are made to distract.
Instead, I sent it to blogs, reviewers, radio hosts & mix creators and some of them already helped me spread the word about the record !
Honestly, it was hard work, harder that just publishing on social media.. but since it made sense, it ended up being way more fulfilling… and I got to meet some cool humans who are into the same things that I do.

Trevor aka Trevlad chose the last track of the record for the 14th edition of Expansive Waves "A space and a place for long form music. Each episode contains 8 pieces that must be over the 12 minute mark."

A couple of days after that, Trevor also included the 3rd track of the record in its Virtual Cassette Library 111.

Kate will play one of the track from the record in her show called “Dark Train” that airs on Warminster Community Radio 105.5FM in the UK, next Monday September 29th at 22:00 UK time.
Dark Train is a “weekly trip into the darkness with experimental electronic music.” The music selection is very wide and very cool.
