This set contains 3 poems that feature in my new book, Your tears fall like pearls, so I thought it was time to upload it!
The set took place in lockdown when we were all feeling isolated from each other, and so it begins with a grounding breathing exercise. The following poems and song chart a journey that can be taken with God, from being broken, to something beautiful: desolation, invitation, consolation and restoration.
The rest of the festival took place in Tottenham. For health reasons, I couldn’t make it. It didn’t turn out too bad, apart from my sketchy guitar playing, but you’ve got to give these things a go, haven’t you? Enjoy!
