Ma-Yi Writer’s Lab is accepting applications for new members to participate in their fall 2026 Playground Series. They anticipate accepting four or five new members to the Writer’s Lab who will participate in generative sessions constituted of playwrights, directors, and actors. Playwrights can use each session to explore eight to 10 pages of writing on its feet, to get a sense of the embodied shape of the writing.

AXS Film Fund
This initiative supports documentary filmmakers and nonfiction new media creators from diverse backgrounds who navigate the challenges of living with a disability. While we encourage submissions from projects where a disabled creator holds a key leadership role, we welcome applications from all collaborative teams. 3-5 creators receive grants of up to $10,000 each. Funding is for works at any stage of production.
