This week’s Nugget comes straight from everyone’s favorite sweetheart, Pushpa.
She sent me this beautiful photo from her village high up in the Himalayas.
In it, the younger monk offers her a blessing, while the elder monk — also known as the Dalai Lama‘s doppelgänger — caringly clenches her hand.
But what I love most here is Pushpa’s expression… it’s such a genuine representation of the true joy and bashfulness she exudes in real life.
Between the prayer flags, Buddhist robes, and her own traditional Tamang outfit, this felt like such a sweet little snapshot into her world.
I’m both grateful and lucky she continues to share these pieces of her life with me.
