Don’t be mad… but this week’s Nugget is a bit of a teaser.
Here’s why:
This past Saturday turned out to be one of my favorite nights of 2026.
I was lucky enough to reconnect with someone I hadn’t seen, or spoken to, in 21 years.
A girl… from Australia.
Who just so happened to be here in Dallas.
It’s a connection that absolutely deserves its own story — and it’ll get one.
But for now, I’ll leave you with this proper little nugget:
A song… by the Scottish band Travis… introduced to me while we sat on the hood of her car, overlooking Sydney Harbour, Christmas of 2005.
I’d never heard of Travis at the time — but ever since, they’ve been a part of the soundtrack to my travels.
And this song in particular takes me to happy, faraway places.
