it’s been many moons now since we stitched two photos together to make it look like the string of bunting was riding the line of affection between us. many moons now since you took the arm of my coat in yours and were shocked to find it limp as i was wearing it over my shoulders; you kept it though, cradled in your arms, like a baby as we strolled down mansfield road in early spring flowers in our buttonholes. many moons now since we started our list of little adventures growing ever longer as our respective ends of bunting crossed the various seascapes. the latest entry, i believe, is for us to recreate some of our favourite stills from xavier dolan’s movies. now we call it doing softboy things. now, on my way back, i finally replied to your message that you’ve finally had your first t dose after what must’ve been many distraught moons and how excited you were about your muskier smell and how you can now do a chin up and quite how beautiful you’re going to be and i am just oh— bursting at my seems to welcome this boy into this life and welcome him home.
