i also just realized substack has a dedicated recipe-formatting option, so from my next post on, u may see a bit of a different formatting! (>ᴗ•) !
soft, chewy gluten free marshmallow matcha white chocolate cookies with browned butter, homemade marshmallow fluff, & the perfect texture. they’re earthy, sweet, & impossible to stop eating. just ask my best friend hannah who got to give these a try.
i’m obsessed with matcha. u all know this. my beli bio is currently “on a journey to find the best hojicha & matcha lattes”. i love a plain hot matcha, grassy & earthy, or a little bit of cinnamon & honey, or on the sweeter end—white chocolate, strawberry, mango, u name it, i’ve probably tried it.
i also love matcha in sweet treats! the problem? a lot of places don’t make gluten free matcha desserts… or they’re too dry & just lacked something, as many gluten free options often do.
so i took my base cookie recipe (posting a recipe on this soon!) & tweaked it until i got exactly what i was looking for: soft, chewy cookies with an earthy matcha flavor, swirled with some marshmallow, & pockets of melted white chocolate, resulting in a texture so delicious u’d never guess they’re gluten free.
& now i’m also on a mission to make more yummy matcha sweet treats (think: cheesecakes, madeleines, donuts, banana pudding… wow i am drooling) !!
