On The Hoolet's Nook

My 100-word story “Widow Talk” is featured in the lovely new issue of The Hoolet’s Nook.

This piece of microfiction was sparked by a SmokeLong Quarterly workshop prompt about overheard dialogue. It is one of the first stories I drafted with this length in mind. I had longlist success with it in two competitions, kept tinkering, and then found it a home.
