This Is Not An Excuse officially goes live, and here’s what I want you to know. First of all, I’M NERVOUS AS HELL !!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t describe how I am feeling and what will happen after the book becomes public. At the time when I started writing this book, I had a lot of unfiltered emotions and it birthed this collection of raw and relatable poems. The words in the book speak to the before, the during & aftermath of a relationship; not necessarily intimate, with unflinching honesty. It delves into the good, and the bad, and I think my favourite aspect of the book is the journey it takes you on. If you read and pay close attention to it, you will be able to see a transcendence of the author’s (MEEEEE) viewpoint.
