Meta Glasses are speed running the Google Glass privacy curve. They’ve gone from “cool tech” to “pervert glasses” in months just as Glass wearers became glassholes, over a couple of years. As long as creepy people exist, this tech is going to be problematic.

David Aaronovitch on Russell Brand’s new book : Brand is the simpler man – a straightforwardly narcissistic monster, who now identifies with Jesus and, believing in himself, believes in Christ. I think he may be months away from declaring that he is the Messiah and a few years away from re-enacting Jonestown or Waco.
