The Unexpected Exorcist: Now a Book! 😈

Last year, from June through October, I serialized my book, The Unexpected Exorcist, on Substack. It was an absolute blast. I met so many wonderful readers (you know who you are) and was floored by the support.

After it wrapped up, I decided to turn the whole 85,654-word saga into a real, hold-it-in-your-hands novel.

It took … way longer than expected. 😹

Turns out, writing a serialized novel and finishing a full-blown book are very different beasts. Between multiple rounds of edits, designing both the paperback and ebook, and dealing with the usual chaos, it’s been over six months since the last episode.

But, it's finally complete.

Huge thanks to my wife-partner, K.L. Rockwell, for the final proofread. Of course, she found a ton of “new” errors. 😂 After her round of edits, we hit “publish.” I must also thank my son, Fineas Rockwell, and my mother, Ingrid Rockwell, for multiple proof-reads!

We also did a paperback! The paperback’s cover is a different version from the ebook, with a different ‘feather look.’ (I just invented that word) It came out great.

The paperback is now on Amazon and will roll out to other retailers soon.
