jewels of precious anointing | Ansley Claire

the jewels of precious anointing adorne my neck.
my chin held high, my dress pulled tight, & not a nerve in sight.
summoned by name,
I walk into His throne room like a deer bending to a stream,
a smile alights on His radiant face.
His beams of glory invites me closer still.
His delight in me - evident.
His favor - I did not earn.
known by name,
His favor is for me.
a heir in His royal priesthood,
He is enthroned on my praises,
my repentings,
my cries.
He has freely clothed me in His garments of grace,
drenched me in His perfume of perfect love.
the King of Kings has adorned my neck with His jewels of precious anointing.
He wants me,
He has freed me,
He has set a place just for me at His table & thrown for me a feast.
in His grand generosity, I am lavished upon.
in His fullness, I am made whole.
like a deer bending to a stream,
I know I am welcome here, so
I walk into His throne room once again.
& again.
& again.

here, you’ll always have a place to sit while sipping your morning coffee, & you’ll always have a friend in me.
