Why you never want to give up on feeling fulfilled

Have you almost given up on feeling fulfilled?

Each of us is meant to thrive guided by our unique makeup and that feeds our vocational fulfillment.

What fulfills you the most may not be your present vocation even if you’ve mastered it. I excelled in sales and sales management for 23 years until I could no longer ignore a different inner calling. Just because you’re good at something doesn’t mean that you are inherently meant for it.

Fulfillment feels like deep satisfaction because it’s actually completion.

Your uniqueness is no accident. You came here equipped to answer a true calling to make the world complete.

Your distinctive ideas come specifically to you because no one else alive is better equipped to make them a reality. Without recognizing your own incomparability, you will continue to seek the lesser wisdom of others.

There’s a very good reason for our distinctiveness. We’re all unique because each of us is meant to be as special in the world as we feel within. The truth is that some part of you still believes in your vocational fulfillment.

My hope in writing this message is that you will at least reflect on the characteristics that honor your originality.

If you aren’t here for a singular, exclusive reason then why are we all so unlike one another?

You are an individualized expression of creative flow. There is something that you can do that no one can do quite as uniquely as you. Somewhere there is a need for that special contribution. ~ Eric Butterworth

It’s impossible to fulfill a grand desire like vocational purpose mainly for financial rewards because when doing so, the fear of lack influences your decisions. You could become wealthy on the outside of life but remain penniless within.

Have you reflected on your distinctiveness? I know you’ve wondered why your different. What if your divergence was your greatest blessing?

To clearly receive this guidance, ask deep questions, get quiet, and reflect on what comes to you. Trust that the responses you hear are actually your individual divinity intelligently guiding you to choose a vocation based on who you are as your true self.

That’s the vocational purpose that is meant especially for you.

Here are a few of my most powerful open-ended questions to fan the flame. You can ask and reflect on what comes to you or you can ask them as seeds for further enlightenment.

• I wonder, what is the contribution to humanity that would bring me most alive?

• What can I be and receive that’s true for me and beyond this?

• What unknown and unseen choices are possible here?

• What valuable talents and capacities do I have that I’ve so far not acknowledged?

• What am I being called to be what I can’t quite see?

This reflection is essential because it calls forth your true self by generating the feeling that you matter. This internal alignment is a taste of transcendence in moments when the ego self drops away and reality is felt, seen and experienced w/o conditioning and memory.

Do not die with your special song unsung.

You came here to express something special that could only be actualized by you in the way only you can.
