Happy Wednesday! Welcome back to Acting Class Daily. Let’s dig in to this week’s personal crafting work - adding resources, recommendations, and troubleshooting tips inspired by the discoveries and challenges of EA teammates worldwide.

After assembling your Script Memory List:

1. Create an Atmosphere List from each unique environment your character experiences throughout the entire script.

2. Starting with your first atmosphere, complete 3 rounds of Orb Work for your “4th Wall.”

3. Taste Test - close your eyes and spin freely. When your eyes open, the Orb will land and swiftly fill the “4th Wall.” Repeat until what your character sees appears the instant your eyes open.

4. Complete Orb Work (and Taste Tests) for all directions - N/S/E/W/Up/Down.

5. Final Testing - When your eyes open, the Orb will land and continue swiftly filling the wall, connecting all directions. Repeat until the full, complete environment appears the instant your eyes open.

Continuing your Atmosphere Work for each unique character environment:

1. Stand in the center of your space and allow any real-world sound to land on your radar screen.

2. When your Actor’s Faith is triggered, “ride the wave” by moving closer/further to the sound, tuning your Actor’s Faith.

3. Repeat for at least 3 sounds.

4. Repeat Steps 1-3 now utilizing real-world smells.

5. Track your Atmosphere discoveries during each Rehearsal Report, and translate each new discovery into Creative Communication.

This week I’ve added THREE new songs to our EA Physical Practice playlist.
