Market Recap Quite the week in terms of price action. Small caps (IWM) continued their rip higher early in the week and finally took a breather the second half of the week. The real story was the selloff in tech, with the Nasdaq 100 shedding over 4% since last week's close and the S&P 500 down over 2%. In terms of price action, ignoring the reasons 'why', this is healthy given the tear QQQ has…

Market Recap Slow start to the week but things certainly picked up on late Wednesday and Thursday with CPI. If I read what I thought I read, and it seems palpable, Thursday’s closing prices on the Nasdaq 100 and the Russell 2000 had the biggest difference in history.

None the less, we picked up a some points so far on an ES long, but nowhere near our profit target into the number (30 points).

We are not expecting a lot of action before the holiday, but Friday, July 5th, is NFP and the market will surely look for signs of any easing in inflation to telegraph the Fed’s next move. We do have some light exposure in some options that expire this Friday, some doing pretty well and some not, but the calls to puts ratio is mostly balanced, which based on our premiums model tells us the market…
