I started writing these monthly looks behind the scenes a while back, but have only published them sporadically since then because I’ve been sitting on the news of my publishing deal for almost a year now, which meant that everything that was happening ‘behind the scenes’ was stuff I wasn’t allowed to tell you about. Which was awkward, really.

But now the news is finally out! Which means I have literally no excuse not to start these back up again, do I?
