I woke up early on the morning of August 11th, but not like I used to have to.

Happy birthday Medicare! 🎂 I attended a rally in New York which has held in front of Bellevue Hospital and led by organizers, activists, and representatives.

The First Amendment states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Thoughts about our current predicament, spurred by my morning coffee and observing nature. Do we exist to be wage slaves? Or can humanity traverse our imaginary box and learn to be, truly, free?

Lately I've been thinking about three things: legitimacy politics in the era of TikTok, who "gets to" report on things, and why we don't trust the legacy media anymore.
