The Wonderful World Of Calypso Coconut Coffee.

Coconut Coffee is one of the top five best beverages in the world… I’ll drink to that.

For years I’d add a little coconut milk to my coffee because I’m nuts for anything with a coconut flavor. I know there are many brands out there, but I never got around to buying them. I recently stayed at a Margaritaville resort, where I got a pleasant surprise. They had several flavors of coffee, but my favorite was the Calypso Coconut. They came in Keurig cups, so I brought home two to run an experiment. This morning I decided to brew them using a French Press. Here is how you can make it at home.

• 1 Keurig cup of Calypso Coconut

• 6oz of hot water

• 1-4 teaspoons of sugar

• 1-4 teaspoons of creamer

• Pinch of salt

• 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

• Pinch of cinnamon

Bring water to a boil, and then add the coffee to the French Press. Add hot water and place the Press lid just above the water level. Allow brewing for 4 minutes.

Add creamer, sugar, and salt into a cup and combine.

Once the coffee is brewed, pour a little into the cup and mix. Add the vanilla and the rest of the coffee. Top with cinnamon.

(Optional- add 1/2 teaspoon of instant coffee for a stronger mix)

Trust me, If you love those flavors, this coffee will have you dancing all morning. I had it around 9.30 am this morning and I am still in awe.
