WEEK 1 · THE SOVEREIGN LENS — Clear the filter you never chose.

Yesterday you listened to an argument about what this thing we call AI is. Today you go and find out whether it holds. Every claim about this medium is somebody’s argument, mine included. The only evidence that counts today is what you go and see. Today’s session:

• The Eye. A four-station journey — We’ll find out how the medium pulls everything toward the middle, or if you can still find the human source.

• The Embodiment. We’ll look at the grain of the medium itself: how the numbers move, how the probabilities spread, and why the scale changes everything.

• The Observation. A series of experiments — from word embeddings to self-attention steps — that remove the magic and reveal the mechanism.

• The Sovereign Refusal. A challenge to stop accepting the defaults as neutral and recognize that the ability to say ‘no’ is part of the relationship.
