Eri is an elite alpha and mankae (youngest) in his debuting K-Pop group. He is given an amazing opportunity to work with a big producer and another huge established K-Pop idol, Sooyoung, on a dance performance. Upon their first meeting and dance rehearsal, Eri misses steps because he is so captivated by Sooyoung.

“Damn it…He completely overwhelm me”

While practicing alone during overtime hours, Sooyoung gives off a sweet omega scent, accidentally revealing his secret that he is no alpha. This is a major issue as the image for his K-Pop group and members is that they all claim to be alphas!

He propositions Eri to keep his secret or else his group and company will be scandalized. Eri makes the situation worse when he is overcome with passion, biting Sooyoung’s neck, causing them to be mated together—not to mention breaking a gender law of consent!

The companies take conferences to argue over the issue and make demands, but sweet Sooyoung takes over by requesting to still remain as mates for a bit longer, really saving Eri’s image and career as they brand it a “pupil and mentor relationship”.

As the two get closer and more attraction is growing between them, they really take a stand against their companies. The performance they were initially hired to do together is a very successful dance number about destined mates, grabbing everyone’s attention and bringing more attention to their groups and fame.

“You could stay alphas are rare too. You have to be an alpha. Betas are out of the question. Omegas are nothing but a burden…Even diamonds are separated by their grade.”

There is a beautiful kiss scene involving a pool that brings them together that allows them to move forward in their mated relationship that really shows it is Eri & Sooyoung vs their companies; they will no longer stand to be treated as a product.

“It will burn me to ash if I can’t be with you”

Despite the beautiful art, some of it seemed like draft sketches; during some of the steamy scenes, it was harder to depict what was happening.

It was my first omegaverse, and what a perfect introduction into this trope because I also loved the BL and K-pop elements too. I would continue to follow their story and hope their coming out would continue to inspire others in their industry. (6/10)

A spicy and taut BL romance starring the alpha and omega of the K-pop world! Mixing music and omegaverse seduction, this oneshot manga pairs a newcomer alpha boy band member with an established star who has a secret—his group may not be "all-alpha" as it claims…

Eri’s boy band Vinks has just debuted! People assume success comes naturally to him since he’s an alpha, but actually, as the youngest member, he has to work twice as hard. His exceptional dancing lands him a solo session with Sooyoung Lee, a top idol from an all-alpha group called α-code. The piece they’re dancing to is a nostalgic hit that started a “destined mate” craze. The lyrics—“You spark my heart, I need you right now”—always felt like a faraway dream to Eri. So why does Sooyoung smell so sweet? Can it be that this celebrity isn’t so “all-alpha” after all?!
