February went by in the blink of an eye.
Most of you know I took a road trip to LA to get certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). I also visited a couple of hot springs and spent time with my parents while they were wintering in Tucson. It was a whirlwind but a lovely trip.
During my certification, they were very clear that MLD is not massage. While it may look similar, there is no kneading.
The lymphatic system is a vital part of our immune system. It protects us by clearing out old and abnormal cells, transports fats from the digestive tract, and helps regulate fluid levels in the body (which means it plays a huge role in inflammation).
I truly love this modality. It is gentle, slow, and rhythmic.
In addition to supporting immune function and reducing swelling, it deeply supports the nervous system by activating the parasympathetic response, shifting you from “fight or flight” into “rest and digest.”
Another beautiful benefit? Improved skin health by helping reduce acne, eczema, and even the appearance of cellulite.
March Specials
I’m offering a special on Lymphatic Drainage for the month of March so I can practice as much as possible and share this work with more of you.
I’m also running a Craniosacral special, a modality I continue to love and want to deepen even further. Both are very gentle touch.
Astro Corner
Mercury went retrograde yesterday, and we have a Full Moon Eclipse in Virgo on 3/3.
Eclipses magnify whatever is already humming beneath the surface.
Virgo energy is precise. Observant. Devoted to what works.
I thought the Sabian symbol for this degree is striking:
“A Powerful Statesman Overcomes a State of Political Hysteria.”
In a time that feels loud, reactive, and emotionally charged, this symbol speaks to composure. To the kind of authority that does not escalate the noise, but steadies it. The new world is calling us to step into our own inner authority.
The “statesman” represents disciplined inner leadership, someone who does not get swept up in collective panic. Someone who understands that hysteria burns itself out, but clarity endures.
This eclipse may reveal:
• Where your nervous system is overloaded
• Where you’ve been absorbing collective anxiety
• Where your routines are stabilizing you… or draining you
• Where discernment is needed instead of reaction
Virgo doesn’t fix the world through outrage.
Virgo restores order through devotion to what is directly in front of them.
Right now, the most powerful thing you can do is regulate.
Slow your breathing.
Limit your inputs.
Touch the earth.
Tend your body.
Organize one small corner of your life.
Virgo reminds us that stability is built through humble, precise acts repeated over time.
If the collective feels wild, this is your invitation to become the steadying force, first within yourself.
Not bypassing.
Not numbing.
But choosing calm.
Let the noise collapse under its own weight.
You don’t have to carry it.
I’m here to support you however I can.
Be well, friends! xo abby jane
