A series of 3 ‘mini CPD’ workshops for teachers. These are two-hour sessions giving you an insight into how I work and what you can expect on my upcoming mentoring program Evolution. All workshops will be at The Painted Barn, a beautiful space just outside of Norwich. Each workshop is £40 and if you book all three £100

Adjustments & Assists - April 29th & May 27th 12-45-2.45pm
In both these sessions we will look at how to confidently and safely adjust a handful of the foundational yoga poses. Using techniques from Thai yoga massage we will delve into the Art of Touch, explore the difference between assisting and adjusting and how to maintain good body posture and boundaries when giving assists.
Working with different body types - June 24th 12.45-2.45pm
Do you have students who, no matter what props or encouragement is offered struggle to feel comfortable in even basic asanas? Or, do you have a student whose flexibility is amazing but who can't hold postures for long and complains of aches and pains? In this session, we will look at how skeletal variation (mainly in the hips) affects how individuals will access postures. We will also look at Hypermobility, how it shows up in your students, how to offer support and specific modifications in asanas, and knowing what drills could help with strength and stability.
Open to teachers at any stage of your development.
