Across history, when systems collapse, new ways of learning have emerged—quietly, courageously, at the edges. Mystery schools. Folk schools. Freedom schools.

These weren’t classrooms. They were thresholds.

They didn’t prepare students to fit the world. They prepared them to remake it.

Civilization-shapers across time learned in spaces like these: Plato. Rumi. Da Vinci. Harriet Tubman. Gandhi. Nelson Mandela. Thích Nhất Hạnh. Maya Angelou.

The Flight School is animated by the same spark. ✨

Since 2024, we’ve supported emerging adults from 35 countries in cultivating the wisdom and courage to navigate a world in transition.

We do this by honoring presence over performance, meaning over metrics, courage over comfort. It’s a journey from fear to flourishing—within us, between us, beyond us.

And it’s working.

100% of Fellows report their Launch Year as transformative (compared to just 3% of college students, according to Gallup).

Applications are now open for our Fellowship.* We’re seeking high school seniors worldwide who are:
