We’re driving back from a lacrosse game, listening to Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me! where I learned that holes are disappearing from Swiss cheese (!?). I clicked around and discovered this New Yorker article from 2015 that features commentary from a cheese historian. I love a niche historian, don’t you?
A. I’ve been looking for Ikebana inspiration, and I found a lot.
B. The exhibition that I’ve been working on for months opened last night! One section of the show focuses on the Bicentennial celebrations in 1976. In the course of my research, I came across this bumper sticker, which makes me giggle every time I see it.

E. I bought three of these benches for work and have been really happy with them. Comfortable without being sloppy.
F. This dress arrived this week, and the fabric is soft and comfortable, the sort of dress that has me excited for summer. I’m 5’ 4” and short-waisted, and I have found Vineyard Vines is often a good source for dresses.
